Lessors beginning to stipulate airlines must comply with EU ETS: Stephenson Harwood

Stephenson Harwood global head of aviation Paul Ng, speaking at CAPA's Financing the Asian Aviation Revolution conference, stated (07-Sep-2012) lessors are now beginning to including clauses in contracts stipulating that airlines must comply fully with EU ETS. Provisions under the EU ETS allow EU countries to seize aircraft from airlines that do not comply with the ETS.
