Korean Airlines expects a “significant recovery” for remainder of 2009 and in 2010

Korean Airlines CEO, Cho Yang-ho, stated the carrier expects a "significant recovery" during the remainder of 2009 and in 2010, on stabilising oil prices and a strong Korean Won (Reuters, 05-Nov-2009). However, the spread of the H1N1 flu virus is still adding uncertainty to the industry outlook, according to the CEO, who added that the carrier's cargo business "keeps growing".
