Korean Air and Asiana Airlines to add record number of new employes in 2H2011

Korean Air and Asiana Airlines reportedly plan to hire a record number of new employees in 2011, according to a Korea Herald report. Korean Air plans to add 330 new crew members to the 1000 hired in 1H2011 and Asiana Airlines plans to hire 465 employees, including 222 flight attendants, for a total of 1106 new employees in 2011, a 16% year-on-year increase.

The new employees will support the addition of 12 new aircraft in 2012, Asiana Airlines said.
