King Khalid Airport to invest USD2.6bn to raise capacity

Saudi Arabia's King Khalid International Airport Acting Director General Abdullah Al Tasan stated the airport may invest SAR9.8 billion (USD2.6 billion) in expansion plans to raise its annual capacity from 12 to 25 million passengers (al-Hayat, 29-Nov-2010). The plan will be financed by the government and the General Authority of Civil Aviation.
