Kenya tourism revenue up 18% in 2010

Kenya reported an 18% year-on-year increase in tourism revenue to KES73,600 million (USD885.7 million) on the back of increased visitor arrivals in 2010 (Nation Media, 07-Mar-2011). In 2010, 1.1 million tourists visited Kenya, an increase of 15.1%, but just missing its projection of 1.2 million for the year.
