Kenya Airways to report improved performance for H1FY2017

Kenya Airways reported (13-Oct-2016) the following performance highlights for H1FY2016/17:

Passenger numbers increased 4.1% year-on-year to 2.23 million;
Load factor increased 3% to 71%;
Operating profit increased by KES2 billion (USD19.7 million);
Net losses reduced from KES12 billion (USD118.5 million) to KES5 billion (USD49.4 million).
