Jetstar says Virgin Australia move upmarket has delivered 'very significant RASK growth' for Jetstar

Jetstar Group CEO Jayne Hrdlicka, speaking on the release of its FY2015 results, said (20-Aug-2015) the underlying Australian market means as Virgin Australia "tries to compete more aggressively" in the premium end of the market it has "disenfranchised" customers looking for a low fare. Ms Hrdlicka added: "That has delivered very significant RASK growth for us in what has traditionally been very quiet periods of the year."
