Jetstar Group evaluating future of Jetstar Hong Kong, says decision doesn't slow us down

Jetstar Group CEO Jayne Hrdlicka, at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, said (05-Aug-2015) despite the bad news for Jetstar Hong Kong "the opportunities in Asia continue to be quite significant." Ms Hrdlicka added: "The decision is devastating news for the people of Hong Kong, they're being denied choice and the opportunity for low fares," but noted: "It is what it is and we move on, it doesn't slow us down." Ms Hrdlicka noted the carrier has not made any decision about what it will do in regards to appeal and that the board is currently reviewing its options. Ms Hrdlicka said Jetstar Hong Kong has until the third week of Sep-2015 to announce its plans.
