JetBlue expects CASM to decrease in 4Q2014

JetBlue Airways stated (23-Oct-2014) it expects 4Q2014 CASM to decrease between 3% and 1% year-over-year, while CASM ex fuel and profit sharing is expected to increase between 1.0% and 3.0% year-over-year. FY2014 CASM is expected to increase between 0.5% and 2.5% over FY2013, while capacity is expected to increase between 5.0% and 7.0%. FY2014 capacity is expected to increase between 4.0% and 6.0% year-over-year. The carrier expects capital expenditures for aircraft of USD225 million in 4Q2014 and USD635 million in FY2014.
