JetBlue Airways passenger numbers up 10.5% in Feb-2011

JetBlue Airways announced (10-Mar-2011) the following traffic highlights in Feb-2011:

• Passenger numbers: 1.8 million, +10.5% year-on-year;
• Passenger load factor: 80.1%, +5.6 ppts.

JetBlue: "JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile (PRASM) for the month of February increased 18% year over year. Approximately three points of this increase are attributable to the impact of severe weather in the north-east at the beginning of the month, which resulted in a lower than expected completion factor.
