Jeju Air reports 'best ever' quarterly sales and operating profit in 1Q2015

Jeju Air reported (27-Apr-2015) its "best ever" quarterly sales and operating profit in 1Q2015. Sales revenue increased 22% year-on-year to KRW144.4 billion (USD131.1 million) and operating profit increased 331% to a record KRW21.1 billion (USD19.2 million), surpassing the previous record of KRW16.7 billion (USD15.2 million) set in 3Q2014. The carrier attributed the record result to its aggressive expansion policy, such as the launch of new routes to Guam.
