Japan domestic pax up 8%, int'l pax up 2% in Aug-2013; cargo mixed

Japan MLITT reported (07-Oct-2013) the following preliminary traffic highlights for Aug-2013:

Passenger numbers:
- Domestic: 8.9 million, +8.1% year-on-year;
- International: 1.4 million, +2.4%;
Cargo volume:
- Domestic: 72,551 tons, +1.7%;
- International: 94,203, -4.1%.
