Japan Airport Terminal Co targets USD263m EBITDA, 61.5m pax by FY2015; USD333m investment

Japan Airport Terminal Co, operator of Tokyo Haneda Airport, released (08-May-2013) its medium-term management plan for FY2013 to FY2015, which outlines its "steady response to new environmental changes and further capacity expansion and internationalisation of Tokyo Haneda Airport". Details are as follows:

  • Investment plan: Total investment of JPY26,000 million (USD333.3 million);
    • In response to the internationalisation of Tokyo Haneda: JPY1500 million (USD19.2 million) in FY2013;
    • Security: JPY10,000 million (USD128.2 million) between FY2013 and FY2015;
    • New airport value creation: JPY9000 million (USD115.4 million) between FY2013 and FY2015;
    • Building 2 IV plan: JPY2700 million (USD34.6 million) in FY2013;
    • Others: JPY2800 million (USD35.9 million) between FY2013 to FY2015.
  • Goals:
    • Share return: Dividend of JPY13 or more;
    • Financial position: Continue to maintain equity ratio above 50%;
    • Tokyo Haneda passenger numbers:
      • FY2013: 60.3 million;
      • FY2014: 60.9 million;
      • FY2015: 61.5 million;
    • EBITDA:
      • FY2013: JPY17,700 million (USD226.9 million);
