Japan Airlines reports 6% operating profit increase in 2QFY2012, raises full-year guidance

Japan Airlines revenue up 6% - financial highlights for three months ended 30-Sep-2012:

  • Operating profit: JPY112,100 million (USD1412 million), +5.7%;
  • Net profit: JPY99,700 million (USD1256 million), +2.4%;
  • Passenger numbers: 19.0 million, +9.3%;
    • Domestic: 15.2 million, +7.4%;
    • International: 3.8 million, +17.7%;
  • Passenger load factor: 70.0%, +4.4 ppts;
