JAL targets return to profits in FY2011

Japan Airlines confirmed it is targetting a return to profit for the 12 months ending 31-Mar-2011 as the carrier accelerates restructuring under a new chairman, including a reduction in staff numbers and routes (Channel News Asia, 18-May-2010). JAL announced last month plans to cut up to 45 domestic and international routes and up to 15,000 jobs.
