ILFC announces 114 aircraft leases for 1H0211

ILFC announced (16-Jun-2011) that it has entered into 114 lease commitments so far in 2011. Other 2011 year-to-date highlights include:

• Ordered 100 A320neo family aircraft and 33 B737-800s;
• Secured term loan facility for USD1.5 billion with 16 banks worldwide;
• Obtained unsecured Bank Revolver for USD2 billion with 11 global banks;
• Raised USD2.25 billion in unsecured public debt issued in two tranches at interest rate of 5.75% and 6.25% for five-year and eight-year maturities, respectively. More than 175 investors included in each tranche;
• Completed tender offer of USD1.75 billion for bond maturities in 2012 and 2013 to continue efforts to better distribute annual debt maturities;
• Optimised mix of fixed versus floating debt to protect against rising interest rates;
• Opened office in Amsterdam to address Europe, Middle East, and Africa;
• Currently planning further office expansion in Asia Pacific region. [more]
