IATA releases Jul-2011 Airline Business Confidence Index

IATA released (18-Jul-2011) its Jul-2011 Airline Business Confidence Survey showing that while profit margins have continued to be squeezed in 2Q2011, there has been some recovery in the outlook for profitability in the next 12 months ahead. Both cargo and passenger demand are expected to continue to grow over the next 12 months but cargo and passenger yield, although improved in 2Q2011, are expected to stabilise. [more]
