IATA: Copenhagen agreement step in right direction

IATA welcomed (20-Dec-2009) the Copenhagen Accord as an "important step in the right direction for climate change", although aviation emissions were not addressed specifically in the Accord. IATA has outlined its targets for aviation and emission reduction and efficiency enhancement, and called for support of the industry's "global sectoral approach and targets." [more]
