Hongqiao traffic to surge 50% with expansion

China's Hongqiao International Airport expects to see a 50% increase in air traffic following the completion of its expansion, scheduled for in Mar-2010 (Shanghai Daily, 10-Dec-2009). The USD2.24 billion expansion includes a second runway, new terminal and cargo zone.
