Hong Kong Government welcomes opening of HAECO's third hangar at Hong Kong Airport

Hong Kong SAR Government's Acting Chief Secretary, Stephen Lam, welcomed (25-Sep-09) the opening of HAECO's third hangar at Hong Kong International Airport, stating the hangar will help broaden Hong Kong's horizons as the international aviation hub in Asia. Mr Lam added development of the airport's 2030 Master Plan is currently under way. Mr Lam also stated that the downturn in demand in Hong Kong's aviation and tourism industries may be "tapering off".
