High-speed rail will not eliminate air services between Beijing-Shanghai

CAAC Director General Li Jiaxiang stated air services on the lucrative Beijing-Shanghai sector will not be eliminated due to the opening of the proposed high-speed rail link because of the high flow of passenger traffic on the sector (CAAC-News, 17-Apr-2011).
