Hengyang Nanyue Airport project feasibility study receives approval

CAAC stated (12-Mar-2012) the National Development and Reform Commission approved the new Hengyang Nanyue Airport project feasibility study report on 29-Feb-2012. The CNY656.2 million (USD102.5 million) airport project is designed as a category 4C airport with a 2600x45m runway and a 6000sqm terminal building. By 2020, the airport will have capacity to handle 300,000 passengers and 1200 tonnes of cargo p/a.
