Government auditors probe Saudi Arabian Airlines for overspending

Saudi government auditors are reportedly probing Saudi Arabian Airlines over alleged mismanagement of funds involving overspending of SAR5 billion (USD1.3 billion) (emirates247.com, 05-Jun-2011). The carrier is one of the largest in the Middle East and was set-up in 1945 as a government venture but has plans to go public.
