Gold Coast Airport 'unashamedly focused on leisure': Queensland Airports

Australia's Queensland Airports MD Dennis Chant, speaking at the CAPA Australia Pacific Aviation Summit, described (09-Aug-2013) Gold Coast Airport as "unashamedly focused on leisure". He however noted the increase in LCC traffic with up to 24-25 daily LCC services at the airport, has seen an increase in the number of self-employed people in the Gold Coast using the airport.
