Global Airports wants time for MAp shareholders to consider its bid

Global Airports (Gap) is urging Macquarie Airports to defer its vote on MAp's internalisation plans on 30-Sep-2009 to a later date, so MAp's shareholders can decide on its counter proposal for the management rights of MAp (The Australia, 23-Sep-2009). MAp formally rejected Gap's proposal on 21-Sep-2009, stating it risks breaching the bank change of control clauses.
