Germany business climate index rises to highest since reunification

Germany's Ifo Institute for Economic Research stated (17-Dec-2010) the Ifo Business Climate for industry and trade in Germany has shown renewed improvement in Dec-2010 from an already high level. In the course of the entire year 2010, the business climate index has risen sharply. The index increased to 109.9 in Dec-2010 from 109.3 in Nov-2010 marking the highest level since records for a reunified Germany commenced in 1991.
