German unemployment declines to lowest since Sep-1992

Germany's Federal Labor Agency stated (01-Mar-2011) German unemployment declined a seasonally adjusted 52,000 to 3.07 million in Feb-2011, to reach the lowest level since Sep-1992. German joblessness has now declined for each of the last 19 months with the exception of Dec-2010, when it rose by 1000. The adjusted jobless rate fell to 7.3%, the lowest since Dec-1991, down from a post-World War II high of 12.1% in Mar-2005.
