Gambia Bird commences operations and announces schedules

Gambia Bird commenced the following services, effective 22-Oct-2012, according to the carrier's website - see Route Changes Table for more information:

  • Accra-Banjul: twice weekly;
  • Accra-Monrovia: weekly;
  • Banjul-Conakry: weekly;
  • Banjul-Dakar: three times weekly;
  • Banjul-Monrovia: twice weekly;
  • Banjul-Freetown: twice weekly;
  • Banjul-London Gatwick: weekly service until 30-Mar-2013;
  • Conakry-Dakar: weekly;
  • Conakry-Freetown: weekly;
  • Freetown-London Gatwick: weekly service until 30-Mar-2013;

The airline also plans to commence weekly Banjul-Barcelona service on 28-Oct-2012 until 30-Mar-2013. Gambia Bird operates all services with 144-seat A319-100 aircraft and also plans to commence Banjul-Lagos, Monrovia-Lagos and Accra-Lagos services.
