Freight tonnage growth in Asia giving way to more sustainable growth: AAPA

Association of Asia Pacific Airlines director-general Andrew Herdman stated recently that freight tonnage growth in Asia is giving way to more sustainable growth, adding: "An extraordinarily strong recovery" has boosted Asian cargo (Bloomberg, 23-Dec-2010). Mr Herdman said: "We don't see signs of double-dip" recession. "We are going to see a sustained recovery. That makes us optimistic about next year."
