Frankfurt Hahn sets two traffic records in 2010, but pax traffic down

Germany's Frankfurt Hahn Airport announced (15-Jan-2011) it set two new traffic records in 2010. The airport handled 167,157 tonnes of cargo in 2010, a 55% year-on-year increase. The airport also handled 5,779,096 traffic units in the year, a 4.3% year-on-year increase. Despite the strong cargo results, passenger traffic fell 8% in the year to 3.5 million.
