Flybe revenue up 6.8%, profit plummets in FY2009

Flybe revenue up 6.8% - financial highlights for the 12 months ended 31-Mar-2009:

  • Revenue: GBP572.4 million, +6.8% year-on-year;
  • Cost of sales: GBP503.6 million, +14.1%;
    • Fuel: GBPGBP115.4 million, +35.4%;
  • Operating profit*: GBP20.4 million, -46.6%;
  • Profit after tax^: GBP4.1 million, -88.3%;
  • Passenger numbers: 7.3 million, +4.3%;
