FedEx to acquire 50 more 767Fs with 50 options

FedEx Express agreed (21-Jul-2015) to purchase 50 additional Boeing 767-300F aircraft. The aircraft will be acquired directly from Boeing and delivered from FY2018 to FY2023. FedEx also has options to purchase another 50 767Fs. FedEx now holds 106 firm orders for 767Fs. The additional aircraft form part of the company's fleet modernisation programme and are expected to help reduce structural costs, improve fuel efficiency and increase reliability.
