Etihad Airways reports profit in 2012

Etihad Airways stated (23-Jan-2013) it reported a profit in 2012. Etihad Airways president and CEO James Hogan said the airline's expansion was driven by a focus on cost control and the creation of value and scale. Mr Hogan said the airline has a strong financial portfolio with more than USD6.5 billion in funding from more than 50 financial institutions. Mr Hogan said, "Etihad Airways has achieved double-digit passenger and revenue growth in recent years and established world-class product and service.
