Etihad Airways received 17 aircraft in 2014, 16 due in 2015

Etihad Airways expanded (28-May-2015) its fleet by 23.6% year-on-year to 110 aircraft with an average age of 5.5 years by the end of 2014. The carrier received three A320s, three A321s, two A330-200s, one A330F, one A380, five Boeing 777-200LRs, one 777-300ER and one 787-9 in 2014. The airline also added further leased capacity during the year. The carrier has more than 200 aircraft on firm order and options or purchase rights for another 66. The airline expects to take delivery of one A320, six A321s, four A380s, one 777-300ER and four 787s in 2015. [more - original PR]
