Ethiopian Airlines achieves record performance despite challenges in FY2014

Ethiopian Airlines, on its Facebook page, stated (27-Aug-2014) it ended FY2014 with record performance "despite the challenges faced in the aviation industry." Results as follows:

• Revenue: RTB46,500 million (USD2430 million), +21% year-on-year;
• Passenger traffic (RPKs): +16%;
• Capacity (ASKs): +17%;
• New aircraft: 13;
• New destinations: 9.
