Embraer projects 6800 new jet deliveries of 30 to 120-seat segment over next 20 years
Embraer released (09-Jul-2012) its commercial aircraft market outlook for aircraft in the 30 to 120-seat segment for 2012-2031. Embraer forecasts 6795 new jet deliveries in the 30 to 120-seat capacity segment, valued at USD315 billion at list prices. The manufacturer expects replacement of ageing aircraft will represent 53% of new deliveries and 47% will be added to support market demand growth. The world fleet in service of 30 to 120-seat jets will increase from 4150 aircraft in 2011 to 7375 by 2031.
