American Airlines takes delivery of first E175

American Airlines took delivery (11-Feb-2015) of the first of 60 Embraer E175 aircraft on 11-Feb-2015. American Airlines selected Compass Airlines to operate the first 20 E175 aircraft under the American Eagle brand. American's VP of fleet planning Peter Warlick stated, "The E175 is an important part of American's fleet renewal, providing us the right size aircraft for the right routes.
