El Al Israel Airlines orders four B737-900ERs

El Al Israel Airlines announced an order for four new B737-900ERs from Boeing, as well as options for two more B737NG family aircraft (Dow Jones, 08-Feb-2011). The aircraft will be mainly used on services from Tel Aviv to European destinations, replacing older B757s.The acquisition is intended to meet the growing customer demand on various routes and would allow El Al to improve its quality of service.
