Egyptair positive for business growth and African aviation

Egyptair stated (16-Jun-2010) it is positive about its future business activities due to the revival of aviation on a global level and the prime position Africa is in to lead this growth. Egyptair operates to 72 destinations across Asia, Africa, Europe and North America, with plans to further expand after recently receiving two of six new B777-300ERs, as part of its 2013 fleet-expansion plan. The carrier has contracted eight new B737-800 aircraft to supplement its fleet of 12, bringing the total fleet of B737-800 aircraft to 20. It also has plans to purchase A330-300s in the future.
