Edelweiss Air appoints new CEO

Edelweiss Air announced (16-Apr-2014) the appointment of Bernd Bauer as CEO, effective 3Q2014. Mr Bauer currently serves as VP revenue management, pricing and distribution at SWISS, and will replace the retiring Karl Kistler. Mr Kistler will remain with the company at his own request, returning to his pilot rank.
