easyJet confirms 100th route from London Gatwick

easyJet announced (01-Nov-2012) it will reach the landmark of flying more than 100 routes from London Gatwick Airport. The airline recently confirmed it has been successfully awarded the rights to fly between London Gatwick, easyJet's largest base, and Moscow. easyJet will operate an A320 on twice daily London Gatwick-Moscow Domodedovo service and expects to fly over 230,000 passengers in its first year of operations alone with tickets on sale in the coming months. Flights will start from spring 2013. easyJet's Gatwick route expansion continues with the launch of twice weekly London Gatwick-Kalamata service on 06-Jul-2013 and three times weekly service to Santiago from 18-Jun-2013. easyJet handled more than two million business passengers from London Gatwick p/a and plans to further bolster frequencies on key business routes. Service between London Gatwick and Belfast will be increased to five a day while a new route to the Isle of Man will begin operating four times weekly from Oct-2013. [more - original PR]
