EADS profits up in 1Q2012

EADS revenue up 16% - financial highlights for three months ended 31-Mar-2012:

  • Revenue: EUR11,404 million, +15.7% year-on-year;
    • Airbus commercial: EUR7499 million, +12%;
  • EBITDA: EUR776 million, +31.7%;
  • EBIT: EUR343 million, +78.6%;
    • Airbus commercial: EUR125 million, +17%;
  • Net profit: EUR133 million, compared to a loss of EUR12 million in p-c-p;
  • Aircraft deliveries: 131 commercial aircraft;
  • Aircraft orders: 90 commercial aircraft;
  • Order intake: EUR12,004 million, +91.5%;
    • Airbus commercial: EUR7530 million, +106%;
  • Order book: EUR526,178 million, -2.7% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2011;
    • Airbus commercial: EUR460,288 million, -3% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2011;
  • Total assets: EUR88,730 million, +0.3% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2011;
  • Cash: EUR4580 million, -13.3% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2011;
  • Total liabilities: EUR78,550 million, -1.3% when compared to period ended 31-Dec-2011;
  • FY2012 forecast:
    • Revenue: +6%;
    • EBIT before on-off: Above EUR2500 million;
    • Aircraft deliveries: 570 aircraft;
