EADS concerned over airline capital strength

EADS stated it is concerned that airlines have been unable to relieve their cash shortages over the peak Northern Summer period.

EADS: "Airlines are like hedgehogs that need to bulk up in the summer months so they can make it through winter hibernation. The trouble this year is that they haven't built up any fat," Hans Peter Ring, CFO. Source: Bloomberg, 02-Oct-2009.
