Dubai Airport passenger numbers up 14.3% in Jul-2010

Dubai International Airport reports the following traffic highlights in Jul-2010 (Gulf News, 25-Aug-2010):

• Passenger numbers: 4.3 million, +14.3% year-on-year;
• Cargo volume: 197,845 tonnes +23.5%.

Dubai Airports: "This is an important milestone that reflects the consistent growth we have seen over the past years. Compared to July 2009 Dubai International handled over half a million more passengers and we surpassed the highest ever monthly traffic total by over 300,000 passengers," Paul Griffiths, CEO.
