Department of Transportation awards USD410 million in Federal funding to Chicago O'Hare

US Department of Transportation awarded USD410 million in Federal funding to Chicago O'Hare International Airport's modernisation project including the construction of two new runways and the extension of a third (Reuters/Crain's, 06-Apr-2010). Work has already commenced on the USD3.2 billion first phase of the project with the project due for completion in 2014.
