Delta CEO expects carrier will be in the USD6bn range once again in 2017

Delta Air Lines CEO Ed Bastian stated (16-Dec-2016) the carrier was able to achieve a USD6 billion pre-tax profit in 2016 despite experiencing the "weakest pricing environment in memory" and fuel prices rising from USD25 to USD55.
