Delta CEO's pay in 2009 reduced by more than 50%

Delta Air Lines CEO, Richard Anderson, received compensation of USD8.4 million in 2009, a 52% year-on-year reduction, with the figure including a salary of USD600,000, stock and option awards valued at USD6.6 million and other compensation totalling USD1.2 million, the majority of which was USD771,715 in relocation expenses as Mr Anderson moved from Minneapolis to Atlanta (Associated Press, 30-Apr-2010). He did not receive any above-market returns on deferred compensation.
