Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport passenger numbers up 25% - traffic highlights for Mar-2016:

  • Passenger numbers: 4.6 million, +24.7% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 3.3 million, +32.6%;
    • International: 1.3 million, +8.8%;
  • Cargo volume: 69,130 tonnes, +17.5%;
    • Domestic: 24,402 tonnes, +8.1%;
    • International: 44,728 tonnes, +23.4%;
  • Aircraft movements: 31,460, +20.2%;
    • Domestic: 23,502, +24.3%;
    • International: 7958, +9.7%.
