Copenhagen Kastrup Airport pax up 7% for Mar-2012, transfer traffic increasing

Denmark's Copenhagen Kastrup Airport passenger numbers up 7% - traffic highlights for Mar-2012:

  • Mar-2012:
    • Passenger numbers: 1.9 million, +7.2% year-on-year;
      • Domestic: 193,064, -10.3%;
      • International: 1.7 million, +9.6%;
    • Aircraft movements: 21,559, -1.3%;
      • Domestic: 3378, -13.3%;
      • International: 18,181, +1.2%;
  • Three months ended 31-Mar-2012:
    • Passenger numbers: 5.1 million, +6.4%;
      • Domestic: 527,237, -9.1%;
      • International: 4.6 million, +8.5%;
    • Aircraft movements: 59,769, -0.9%;
      • Domestic: 9419, -12.4%;
      • International: 50,350, +1.6%.

The airport also reported the following top 10 destinations by passenger numbers for Mar-2012:

  • London: 142,452, +7.1%;
  • Oslo: 115,543, +8.5%;
  • Stockholm: 1139,954, +8.2%;
  • Aalborg: 91,051, -5.9%;
  • Paris: 69,749, +6.1%;
  • Amsterdam: 69,368, +7.8%;
  • Helsinki: 60,245, +25.7%;
  • Frankfurt: 54,073, +13.6%;
  • Brussels: 45,213, +20.6%;
  • Berlin: 39,431, +16.6%.
