Continental flight attendants reject tentative contract

Continental Airlines flight attendants, represented by the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers, rejected a proposed 26-month contract that would have raised pay and provided job protection as the carrier combines operations with United Airlines (Bloomberg, 28-Oct-2010). The two sides commenced talks in Dec-2009 and reached the tentative agreement on 30-Sep-2010.
